Dr. Anna Kochanova, DPT
Dr. Anna Kochanova is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy in the state of New York, known for her integrative and patient-centered approach to care. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in 2014. With a strong belief in treating the whole person, Anna combines evidence-based techniques with personalized care to address a wide range of spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. Her clinical philosophy emphasizes the importance of postural re-training, neuromuscular re-education, and soft tissue and joint mobilization to promote long-term functional improvement and pain relief.
Committed to professional excellence, Anna has completed extensive continuing education, including training in IPA BET, IPA Functional Mobilization (FM1 & FM2), Graston Technique, RockTape, and pelvic floor therapy. She has developed particular expertise in the treatment of scoliosis in both children and adults, as well as women’s health - especially pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Anna provides care at Wall Street Pain Relief and Grand Central Pain Relief, two state-of-the-art facilities offering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services. These centers are equipped with spacious Pilates studios and private treatment rooms, allowing for one-on-one, comprehensive, and compassionate care in a welcoming environment.
Outside of her clinical practice, Anna enjoys traveling—especially to destinations like Aruba—and cherishes time spent with her husband and their two daughters.
